PRIVACY POLICY

Effective date: September 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Santiago Consulting LLC, which operates the Better Husband brand ("Better Husband," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit https://www.angelosantiago.com, create an account, purchase or use our courses, memberships, coaching, private community, recorded calls, text-message services, events, or other products and services (collectively, the "Services").

This Policy applies to information we process as the business responsible for deciding how and why the information is used. It does not replace the separate privacy notices of platforms and service providers that process information under their own terms.

1. Information we collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with the Services.

Information you provide directly

We may collect:

  • your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, username, account credentials, and communication preferences;
  • account, membership, enrollment, purchase, billing, refund, and transaction information;
  • information you submit through forms, surveys, assessments, applications, event registrations, customer-support requests, coaching questions, and feedback;
  • profile information, posts, comments, reactions, direct messages, uploaded files, and other content you choose to share in the Better Husband Academy community;
  • information you choose to discuss during coaching, group calls, individual sessions, community conversations, emails, or support messages, including personal information about your marriage, relationships, family, spouse, children, health, safety, beliefs, or circumstances;
  • audio, video, display name, image, voice, chat messages, and statements captured during recorded Better Husband Academy group calls;
  • questions or stories you submit for coaching, replays, the Better Husband Podcast, testimonials, or other uses described when you submit them;
  • your mobile number, consent record, message status, opt-out status, and messages associated with Better Husband Companion or another text-message service; and
  • information contained in emails, messages, reviews, testimonials, or other communications you send us.

Please avoid submitting unnecessary identifying information about your spouse, children, or another person. If you provide personal information about someone else, you represent that you have the right to provide it for the purpose involved.

Payment information

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We may receive transaction details such as the product purchased, amount, date, payment status, billing contact information, and a limited payment-method identifier. We do not ordinarily receive or store your complete payment-card number.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Site or Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • Internet Protocol address;
  • browser, device, operating-system, language, and mobile-carrier information;
  • referring and exit pages, URLs, and campaign information;
  • pages viewed, links clicked, forms started or submitted, videos or media viewed, dates and times, session activity, and other interactions;
  • approximate location derived from an IP address;
  • cookie identifiers, local-storage identifiers, advertising identifiers, and similar technical data;
  • login, authentication, security, fraud-prevention, diagnostic, and error information; and
  • information about email delivery, opens, and link interactions where those features are enabled.

Our Cookie Policy at https://www.angelosantiago.com/cookiepolicy explains these technologies and your choices.

Information from other sources

We may receive information from:

  • Kajabi and other platforms used to host accounts, courses, communities, forms, and checkouts;
  • payment processors and financial institutions that confirm payment status or report a disputed or fraudulent transaction;
  • advertising, analytics, attribution, and referral partners that provide campaign, conversion, or audience information;
  • video-conferencing, media-hosting, text-message, email, event, and customer-support providers;
  • social platforms when you interact with our pages or choose to connect through them;
  • another person who purchases a Service for you, refers you, or includes you in a communication; and
  • public sources when reasonably necessary to protect the Services, investigate misuse, or respond to a legal issue.

2. Personal relationship information

Better Husband provides relationship education, coaching, accountability, and peer support. You may choose to share highly personal information in that process. Depending on what you disclose and the law that applies, this information may include sensitive personal data.

We use personal relationship information to provide coaching and community Services, answer questions, moderate and protect the community, maintain authorized call replays, respond to safety or legal concerns, and improve the Services. We do not use the substance of private coaching conversations, private community posts, or recorded call contributions for targeted advertising. We do not publish an identifiable member's story, image, voice, question, or contribution for public marketing, advertising, social media, testimonials, or podcast use without separate permission.

Better Husband is not a healthcare provider, psychotherapy practice, emergency service, or crisis service. Information you provide is not a medical record and should not be submitted as a substitute for contacting an appropriate licensed professional or emergency resource.

3. How we use personal information

We may use personal information to:

  • create, authenticate, secure, and administer accounts;
  • process purchases, recurring memberships, payments, refunds, and cancellations;
  • provide courses, coaching, calls, replays, community access, events, downloads, and customer support;
  • operate Better Husband Companion and other communications you request or consent to receive;
  • communicate about purchases, accounts, schedules, renewals, policy changes, security, and service matters;
  • send newsletters, educational content, and marketing communications in accordance with your preferences;
  • personalize and improve the Site, content, offers, and customer experience;
  • measure Site use, campaign performance, referrals, and conversions;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, harassment, and other misuse;
  • moderate the private community and enforce our Terms of Service;
  • maintain records of transactions, consent, opt-outs, notices, and communications;
  • comply with law, legal process, tax and accounting requirements, and enforceable government requests;
  • establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
  • protect the rights, safety, privacy, security, and property of members, Better Husband, and others; and
  • complete a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business.

We may create aggregated or deidentified information that does not reasonably identify you and use it for lawful business purposes. We will not attempt to reidentify information that applicable law requires us to maintain as deidentified.

4. How we disclose personal information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this Policy:

Service providers

We use service providers for website and course hosting, account management, private community features, checkout and payment processing, email, text messaging, video conferencing, call recording, media hosting, analytics, advertising measurement, deadline or campaign tools, forms, customer support, security, data storage, professional services, and business operations.

These providers may include Kajabi and its infrastructure providers, payment processors, Zoom or another video-conferencing provider, messaging providers, Pirsch, RudderStack, Google advertising and conversion tools, Deadline Funnel, and embedded-media or widget providers such as Wistia, YouTube, Buzzsprout, and Elfsight. The providers used on a particular page or Service may change over time.

Other Academy members

Information you add to an Academy profile, community post, comment, chat, group call, or replay may be visible to active Academy members and authorized moderators. The Academy community is access-restricted, but we cannot guarantee that another member will follow the confidentiality rules. Do not share information you are unwilling for another member to receive.

Professional advisers

We may disclose information to attorneys, accountants, insurers, auditors, consultants, and other professional advisers when reasonably necessary for their services.

Legal, safety, and security disclosures

We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with law or legal process, respond to an enforceable request, investigate fraud or misuse, enforce agreements, collect amounts owed, protect a person from a serious safety risk, or protect rights, privacy, security, or property.

Business transfers

Personal information may be reviewed, transferred, or disclosed as part of a proposed or completed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of the business. A recipient must use the information consistently with this Policy unless it gives you legally required notice of a change.

With your direction or consent

We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or give separate permission, including for a testimonial, public story, podcast contribution, or marketing release.

5. Advertising, analytics, sale, and sharing

We do not sell personal information for money.

We use analytics, attribution, and advertising-measurement technologies to understand Site traffic, measure campaigns, and determine whether advertisements or referrals led to visits, registrations, or purchases. Some laws may define certain transfers of cookie identifiers, device information, and Internet activity to advertising partners as a "sale," "sharing," or processing for targeted advertising, even when no money changes hands.

We do not use the substance of private coaching conversations, private community posts, call contributions, or Companion replies for targeted advertising.

If applicable law gives you a right to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, email [email protected] with the subject line Privacy Opt-Out. You may also use a legally recognized browser-based universal opt-out signal where supported and required by law. Your browser and device settings may allow you to block or delete cookies and advertising identifiers.

We do not use personal information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning access to employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, healthcare, or basic necessities.

6. Recorded calls, replays, and submitted questions

Better Husband Academy group calls are recorded unless we expressly announce otherwise. Recordings may include your display name, image, voice, chat messages, and statements and may be made available as replays to active Academy members.

We provide notice before or when recording begins. If you do not want your image or voice recorded, you may keep your camera off and remain muted, submit a question privately through an available submission method, or watch the replay instead. A privately submitted question may still be discussed during a recorded call or included in a replay.

We may keep recordings and related information while they remain part of the Academy, while reasonably needed to provide the Services, or as necessary for legal, safety, and recordkeeping purposes. Public use of an identifiable recording, story, question, image, voice, or statement requires separate permission.

7. Email and text-message choices

You may unsubscribe from marketing email by using the unsubscribe link in the message. We may still send nonmarketing messages about your account, purchase, membership, security, policy changes, or a request you made.

Better Husband Companion is a separate, optional, free text-message service. If you affirmatively opt in, we may send approximately three coaching-prompt messages per week. Message frequency may vary, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help, or email [email protected]. Incoming replies are not monitored by a person, and Companion is not an emergency or crisis channel.

Stopping Companion messages does not cancel an Academy membership. Canceling Academy does not necessarily stop a separate Companion opt-in.

8. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the Services, maintaining active accounts and authorized replays, honoring consent and opt-out choices, resolving disputes, protecting the community, and meeting legal, tax, accounting, and contractual obligations.

Retention depends on the information and context. For example:

  • account and membership information may be kept while the account or customer relationship remains active and for a reasonable period afterward;
  • transaction, refund, tax, and accounting records may be kept for the period required by applicable law;
  • community content and call recordings may be kept while used to provide member Services and for a reasonable archival, backup, legal, or safety period;
  • marketing information may be kept until you unsubscribe, after which we may retain a suppression record so we do not add you back without permission;
  • text-message consent and opt-out records may be retained to document and honor your choices; and
  • technical, security, and analytics information may be retained according to our settings and the provider's applicable retention schedule.

When information is no longer reasonably needed, we may delete, anonymize, or securely isolate it. Information in backups may remain until the backup is overwritten or retired.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect personal information. No Internet transmission, platform, or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Protect your account credentials and notify us at [email protected] if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and whether a particular law applies to us or the information involved, you may have the right to:

  • confirm whether we process your personal information;
  • access or obtain a copy of personal information we maintain about you;
  • correct inaccurate personal information;
  • request deletion of personal information;
  • obtain certain information in a portable format;
  • opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling;
  • withdraw consent where processing depends on consent;
  • limit certain uses of sensitive personal information where applicable;
  • obtain information about categories of third parties that receive personal information; and
  • appeal a decision we make about a privacy request.

To submit a request, email [email protected] with the subject line Privacy Request and describe the request. To appeal a decision, use the subject line Privacy Appeal and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and protect your account. An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable law permits, but we may require proof of authorization and may verify the request directly with you. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

Rights are not absolute. We may retain or decline to delete information where permitted, including when needed to complete a transaction, provide a requested Service, protect security, prevent fraud, exercise legal rights, comply with law, preserve another person's rights, or maintain a legally required record.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. A request to delete information needed to provide an active Service may affect our ability to continue providing that Service.

11. California and other U.S. state notices

Where applicable state privacy law requires additional disclosures, the categories of personal information we may have collected during the preceding 12 months are described in Section 1. The sources are described in Section 1, the purposes are described in Sections 2 and 3, and the categories of recipients are described in Section 4.

Those categories may include identifiers, customer and commercial information, Internet or electronic activity, approximate geolocation, account and authentication data, audio and visual information, inferences based on interactions with the Services, and information you choose to provide in coaching, community, call, form, message, or support contexts.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of people under 18. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information unless separate terms explaining the program are provided before participation.

12. International users

Santiago Consulting LLC is based in the United States, and the Services and service providers may process and store information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live.

Where applicable law requires a lawful basis for processing, we rely as appropriate on your consent, performance of a contract or steps requested before a contract, compliance with legal obligations, protection of vital interests, and our legitimate interests in providing, securing, improving, and communicating about the Services, balanced against your rights.

You may withdraw consent at any time where processing depends on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal or processing supported by another lawful basis.

13. Children

The Services are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, purchase, or participate in the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 18.

A member may refer to a spouse, child, or family member during coaching or community participation. Members should avoid unnecessary identifying information about children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information directly to us, contact [email protected].

14. Third-party links and services

The Site and Services may contain links to, or embedded content from, websites and platforms we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. Review those notices before submitting information or using a third-party feature.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Services, technology, legal requirements, or our practices. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide any notice or obtain any consent required by law.
