COOKIE POLICY
Effective date: September 4, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Santiago Consulting LLC, which operates the Better Husband brand ("Better Husband," "we," "us," or "our"), uses cookies and similar technologies on https://www.angelosantiago.com and related pages that link to this Policy (collectively, the "Site").
This Policy should be read with our Privacy Policy at https://www.angelosantiago.com/privacy.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files stored on your browser or device. They may allow a website or service provider to recognize a browser, maintain a session, remember settings, prevent fraud, measure activity, or support advertising and attribution.
We may also use:
- pixels and web beacons, which record events such as a page visit, conversion, or email open;
- local storage, which stores information in your browser and may persist after the browser closes;
- scripts and tags, which enable website features, analytics, embedded media, and advertising measurement;
- software identifiers, which help distinguish a browser, session, account, or device; and
- link and campaign information, such as referral URLs and UTM parameters, which help identify how a visitor reached the Site.
In this Policy, we refer to these technologies collectively as "cookies."
2. Who sets cookies
First-party cookies are set through the Better Husband domain. They may be provided by us or by Kajabi and other providers that operate the Site for us.
Third-party cookies are set or read by another company whose technology appears on the Site, such as an analytics, payment, advertising, video, podcast, widget, security, or campaign provider. Those companies may process information under their own privacy notices.
The technologies used may differ by page, feature, location, browser, consent choice, and whether you are logged in.
3. Why we use cookies
Strictly necessary and security
These technologies help the Site work and support functions such as:
- page delivery and network routing;
- login, authentication, and session management;
- account, checkout, payment, and fraud-prevention functions;
- form security and request validation;
- load balancing, bot detection, and protection against abuse; and
- remembering privacy or security settings.
Representative technologies may include Kajabi session and page-function cookies, Cloudflare security cookies, load-balancing cookies, form-protection tokens, and payment-provider security identifiers.
Because these technologies are needed to provide a feature you request or to protect the Site, blocking them may prevent pages, accounts, forms, checkouts, or media from working correctly.
Analytics and performance
These technologies help us understand how the Site and Services are used, including:
- pages visited and navigation paths;
- referring sources and campaigns;
- approximate visitor, session, and conversion counts;
- browser and device characteristics;
- media interactions and page performance; and
- errors and feature usage.
We use Kajabi analytics and related RudderStack technology. We also use Pirsch for website analytics. Depending on configuration, an analytics service may use cookies, local storage, or requests that process technical and usage information without placing a traditional cookie.
Advertising, attribution, and conversion measurement
We use advertising and attribution technologies to understand whether an advertisement, campaign, or referral led to a visit, registration, or purchase and to improve marketing performance.
The Site currently uses Google advertising and conversion-measurement technology. These tools may receive cookie or advertising identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, page URLs, referral or campaign information, and conversion events. Google or another advertising provider may use information under its own privacy notice and settings.
Some privacy laws may treat certain advertising-related transfers as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged. See Section 7 for your choices.
Functionality and embedded content
These technologies support features such as:
- campaign deadlines or offer timing;
- embedded videos, podcasts, and media players;
- website widgets and interactive content;
- remembering media progress or interface preferences; and
- form and telephone-number formatting.
Depending on the page, providers may include Deadline Funnel, Wistia, YouTube, Buzzsprout, Elfsight, Google, and Kajabi. Loading or interacting with embedded content may allow the provider to receive your IP address, browser and device information, the page you visited, and information about your interaction.
Email technologies
Emails may contain pixels or tagged links that tell us whether a message was delivered, opened, or clicked. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails through the link in the message. Blocking images in your email application may limit some email tracking.
4. Representative cookies and storage observed on the Site
The exact names and durations may change when Kajabi or another provider updates its technology. Representative technologies include:
Site operation, security, and checkout
_kjb_session, used for Kajabi session functionality;_csrf_token, used to protect forms and requests;AWSALBTGandAWSALBTGCORS, used for load balancing and consistent page delivery;__cf_bmand_cfuvid, used for Cloudflare security and traffic management;vs_uniques_landing_page,vs_uniques_offer, andvs_uniques_template_metadata, used for Kajabi page and offer activity; and__stripe_mid, used by Stripe-related payment and fraud-prevention technology where payment features are present.
Analytics and attribution
rl_anonymous_id,rl_session, andrl_page_init_referrer, used by Kajabi or RudderStack analytics;_gcl_auand_gcl_aw, used for Google advertising attribution and conversion measurement; and- local-storage keys used by RudderStack, Google attribution tools, Kajabi, and embedded-media providers.
Campaign and media functionality
- identifiers beginning with
dfe-, which may support Deadline Funnel campaign functions; and - local-storage entries used to remember Wistia video progress or media settings.
A cookie may be a session cookie that expires when you close the browser or a persistent cookie that remains until its stated expiration or until you delete it. Third-party providers determine many expiration periods.
5. How to control cookies
Browser and device controls
Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies and clear local storage. Browser controls differ, so consult your browser's settings or help documentation. Blocking all cookies may prevent account, checkout, form, security, and media features from working.
Your device or browser may also allow you to reset advertising identifiers, limit cross-site tracking, block third-party cookies, or use a legally recognized universal opt-out preference signal.
Cookie preference tools
Where the Site presents a cookie banner or cookie-settings control, you may use it to accept, reject, or change available nonessential-cookie preferences. Strictly necessary technologies may remain active because the requested Site function cannot operate without them.
A cookie-control choice generally applies only to the browser and device where you made it. Clearing browser storage may also clear the preference and cause the Site to ask again.
Advertising choices
You can adjust Google advertising settings at https://myadcenter.google.com. Industry opt-out tools may also be available through:
- https://optout.aboutads.info; and
- https://optout.networkadvertising.org.
These tools are operated by third parties. Their availability and effect are controlled by those providers.
Privacy requests
If applicable law gives you a right to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, email [email protected] with the subject line Privacy Opt-Out. Where required by applicable law and supported by the relevant technology, we will also process a recognized universal opt-out signal as an opt-out request for the browser or device sending the signal.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a Do Not Track setting. Because there is not one universally accepted standard for interpreting every Do Not Track signal, the Site does not respond to general Do Not Track signals unless applicable law requires otherwise.
This is separate from legally recognized universal opt-out mechanisms, such as Global Privacy Control, which may be treated as an opt-out request where required by applicable law and supported by the relevant technology.
7. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising
We do not sell personal information for money.
Our use of Google advertising and conversion-measurement tools may involve transfers of cookie identifiers, device information, Internet activity, referral information, or conversion events that some laws define as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Eligible residents may use the controls described in Section 5.
We do not use the substance of private coaching conversations, private Academy community posts, recorded call contributions, or Better Husband Companion replies for targeted advertising.
8. International visitors
Cookie laws vary by location. Where applicable law requires consent before nonessential cookies are stored or accessed, we will seek the required consent through an available consent mechanism. You may withdraw consent through the same mechanism where available.
If you decline nonessential cookies, strictly necessary technologies may still operate, and some analytics, advertising, personalization, deadline, embedded-media, or widget features may be limited.
9. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Policy when our Site, providers, technologies, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Because providers may change cookie names and durations without advance notice, the examples in Section 4 are representative rather than exhaustive.
